Anti-microbial Protein

The anti-microbial protein conntains more than 100 amino acids, are often lytic enzymes, nutrient binding proteins. While the smaller microbial peptides works largely by disrupting the structure and function of microbial cell membranes.

*Microbial peptides, also known as host defence peptides(HDPs) are part of the innate immune response and are used to terminate the gram negative and gram positive bacteria, enveloped viruses, fungi and transformed or cancerous cells.
